Platform transaction fees

Overview

TIMA Connect charges a platform transaction fee on media spend invoiced through the platform. This is not a subscription SaaS fee—it applies when you send commercial invoices to clients for publisher placements.

Fee base

The fee is calculated as a percentage of the publisher base on each invoice (placement costs before campaign-level agency or management fees).

When fees accrue

Draft invoices do not accrue a platform fee. The fee is recorded when an invoice is sent. Collection timing depends on how the invoice is paid.

Collection

When clients pay via Stripe through TIMA, the platform fee is deducted automatically and the net amount is credited to your campaign collections balance. When payment is recorded off-platform, you remit the platform fee separately from Organization Settings → Billing.

Multi-currency

Platform fees are settled in the invoice currency. Multi-currency organizations remit each outstanding currency separately—TIMA does not convert currencies at remittance time.

Enterprise contracts

Enterprise customers may have custom platform fee rates under an active contract. Your organization-specific rate is shown in the app after sign-in. Contact sales for enterprise pricing.

Other platform charges

Wallet top-ups, storage add-ons, and subscription charges (if applicable) are separate from platform transaction fees and appear in your platform billing history.

FAQ

When am I charged a platform fee?

When you send an invoice through TIMA Connect. Draft invoices are not charged until sent.

What if my platform fee rate is 0%?

TIMA still tracks sent invoices for your records. Stripe payments deposit the full amount to campaign collections with no fee deducted.

Can I show the platform fee on client invoices?

Yes. When generating an invoice you can choose whether the platform fee line appears on the PDF sent to your client.
